My Experience
I discovered this tool during a trip to Costco! The MedMassager team had set up a small section and was giving demo’s to the customers. Walking by I couldn’t resist a free trial, especially since my feet are always aching. After a 5 minute trial, I was sold. I purchased the MedMassager the same day and it’s not been over three years since I’ve owned it.
I use this product almost everyday for my feet, legs, calves, and sometimes even my arms! I find that both the lowest setting and the highest settings offer great relief to my aching muscles. It has 11 different speed options which allow you to dial in your preference in vibration setting. This tool is easy to put by the couch and let it work on my feet and calves while I catch up on my favorite shows. As someone who is on their feet all day, I look forward to coming home and using the MedMassager on my aching feet and calves.
The MedMassager oscillates in a circular motion which stimulates blood flow and promotes healing and recovery. In addition, the MedMassager is its designed to vibrate at specific frequencies scientifically proven to stimulate muscle relief.
Drawbacks
- Somewhat noisy. It’s not silent, but its not overly loud either. One disadvantage is that it can really vibrate the whole house. If you live above a neighbor, you may want to put a foam mat underneath to absorb some of the vibrations out of courtesy.
- It costs around $250, however it’s built with quality parts and I’ve used mine every day for 3 years and it still operates like it’s brand new.
- This unit is not designed to be sat on with your full body weight, so it’s not really a good choice for lower back pain, or sciatica pain.
Special Notes
MedMassager also makes a handheld version of this tool, sometimes offered in a bundle. In my opinion, the handheld version isn’t powerful enough to help with my muscles. Those of you who enjoy less pressure may still benefit from trying the handheld version. If you’re deciding which of the two to try, definitely go with the full version.
