Pocket physio is on of my favorite tools for targeted muscle and trigger point relief and I use it daily.

Neck, Shoudlers, upper / lower back, spine, hip (sciatica), calves

The pocket Physio is such a simple yet effective tool. Imagine you could deep pressure your problem area anywhere you go! This tool is just a triangle with a blunt edge. Simply place it on the floor or against the wall and lean your problem spot into it.
My experience
Let me tell you, if you have that one ‘spot’ that just causes all your problems and you’re always trying to find things to press into it, this tool is your best friend.
I discovered this tool by accident! I was looking for an extra deep tissue massage tool called “trigger point” release tool. A trigger point is a hyper-tense muscle area, usually the size of a quarter or so, and causes referred pain to other areas of the body. I needed a deep tissue release tool because of my fibromyalgia, a condition that causes trigger points all over the body.
For me, I use this tool on my spine by placing it on the floor and then he tly laying my pressure point on it. From there I rock back and forth or just hold in place when the trigger point releases.
I also find this to very helpful for sciatica pain as it can target the lower back and hip very well.
I also find it useful on my shoulders, while laying on the ground and pushing upwards into it. This simulates when someone presses down from above your top shoulder muscles.
Disadvantages
- Care must be taken because you can go too hard or too long on an area and injure yourself!
- Doesn’t vibrate or roll, it can only be stationary
- The point might be too sharp or to dull for you, depending on your tolerance to pressure points. Personally I find it just right.
Where to buy:
This tool is considered a trigger point release tool, sometimes called myofascial release tool.
